As Heroic Team raid was finishing up last night, someone wondered whether we'll need to complete some quests (maybe build our shipyard) before being able to access the HFC raid entrance.

I was browsing MMO-Champ forums looking for an answer and it seems like the consensus is that you DO NOT need to do any of the quests. You can either walk in to Tanaan by the front gate (in the Iron Horde base in northern Talador) or you can actually use Aviana's feather right from your garrison to take you directly to the entrance - see here: http://gfycat.com/DearLavishCassowary
