Last year around this time was a very scary and emotional time for me and my family. My 66 year old aunt was about a quarter mile from finishing the Boston Marathon in 2013 when the bombs exploded. The first bomb, the one closest to the finish line, was about 20 feet from where my Mom, Sister and a number of other family members were sitting. Somehow the only injuries received were a couple scratches from flying glass and hearing loss for about a week. Today my 67 year old aunt got to finish what she started a year ago!

The courage to go back again and participate after last year is admirable. The fact she is 66 and in the physical condition to even be able to participate (2 years in a row) is even more so. What an inspiration! I can see why you're so proud! God Bless you both in spirit and health.

That is really awesome man. the whole bombing last year aside, the fact that she's 67 years old and still has the energy to complete this run is admirable, great for her!
