[Sillyclaws]

How I came up with Sillyclaws...

Over the years, Sillyclaws had a few different names. I started "Sillyclaws" back in Vanilla, she was a night elf female by the name of Demona, from Malygos. Because when I transferred servers, the name "Demona" was taken on pretty much every server. I went from Demona, to Kitkat, to Tigercat, to Lycanthra (to celebrate worgen), then finally Sillyclaws. And how did I come up with Sillyclaws? Well, after exhausting efforts of trying to find a name I like, I was on the verge of giving up...when my daughter came in here and said "momma, your character looks funny, but she has claws, and thats so cool, I wish I had claws". Because we don't say things around here like, you're weird, that's retarded, or that's "stupid", we say everything is "silly". (my daughter is 6 folks).

As we all know, all kids are very impressionable. However, thanks to her saying that she wished she had claws...I then called my daughter silly....then it hit me. Sillyclaws!

Yeah, not exciting, but whatever, and I'm glad to say that for a while, my character was the only one on the wow armory with the name. Now I have a copycat. AND, thanks to my grind for the Bloody coins on Timeless Isle, I have haters...who affectionately named new characters "Sillysucks" or Sillysuck".

I wanted something that had blonde in it and Blonde Ambition came out in theaters right around when I first started my mage. So I shortened it so that it could be either Blind or Blonde ambition and so the name was started.
My brother had made our first character on the account named Cthulukins after Cthulu from Lovecraft and added kins to it. I've kept the name and character just the same except for leveling him.
But Blndambition was my main.

I always love reading these things about people and their choices. I am kinda shocked that so many people used the autogenerate - I agonized over most of my early toon names - it never occurred to me to autogenerate lol.

My first toon was a dwarven priest named Saintos - at the time I thought it was humorous that he looked like a hispanic missionary priest and I think I was reading about the aztec empire at the time so it kinda fit. He got lost somewhere in Arathi Basin around level 33 and I decided to leave him there wandering in the wilderness - for all I know he's still there.

My 2nd toon was my main Pippilongear. I decided to roll a druid and since the only class that was alliance druid at the time were Night elves, it wasn't much of a choice. My original intention was to roll a male druid but after panning around the male druid model caused me to vomit in my mouth, I quickly chose female. Sorry to say but the male druid hindquarters looks so ridiculous - they have a horrendous looking ass. Their whole body shape looks laughable- the only character model that is possibly worse than male night elf is a male belf. After playing around with the customization features I settled on a pigtail-style hairdo (purple maybe?) and the name Pippi Long Stockings just kinda jumped out at me. Cursing the character limit, I searched for body features that would fit the "long" description and settled on her ears (which were quite long)

Over the years she has been called many mangled versions of the name: Peepee, Pipilon, Pip Lawn Gear and my all time favorite: Ploppi Bum Smear

One of my early wow acquaintances had a naming convention for his toons - he called them all "SweetXXXX" - so his main was SweetPea, his alts were SweetSham, Sweetsmage, etc... I liked the simplicity (easy to recognize the person without having to go to the guild roster page and see whose alt it is) so I used a similar one. Alts are: Pipilongclaw (worgen warlock), Pipilonghorn (Draenei priest), Pipilongstoc (human paladin), DarkPippi (DK) and....Pippity (my newest toon - panda warrior, sorry but my panda has nothing "long" at the moment so I might name change her at some later time if I think about something interesting)

2 more interesting tidbits: I have a banking alt whose name I cannot share in good company, just that he is a bald, gnome warrior with a huge porn stache and his name starts with "Pippilong"

I have a gnome mage (the 3rd toon I created) currently named Pipilonglash. Before I server xferred her name was "Twinkletoes" and she was level 29 twink in BC. Oh how I enjoyed crushing hapless noobs, one shotting them or just taunting them by slowly whittling down their hp as they chased after her vainly. I loved to imagine what the conversation was like in the horde's BG chat. "Dude that mage just killed me again!" "Really, which one?" "....uh...Twinkletoes?" "...(long silence)..ARE YOU F'ING SERIOUS??? YOU WERE KILLED BY A TOON NAMED TWINKLETOES??? BWAHAHAHA"

I was on Malygos at the start of WoW. I left the server as soon as they opened up realm transfers.

TBH, if you were there from start, I'm surprised you don't remember me, here are a few reasons to possibly remember or at least heard of me...

There was an auction on the realm forums - after the first blizzcon, for the Murky pet. I won.

I was also the first on server to get the Winterspring Frostsaber (after 3 months of grinding rep).

I was in the guild that took down Onyxia for the first time on the realm.

I was the first hunter on the realm with the "not so legendary" legendary bow questline completed. Rhok'Delar - I still proudly use it's transmog to this day.

I was the first hunter on the realm to gain the shot "tranquil shot BOOK" to aid in the killing of the dog in MC. To which, caused me to lose rep with the server because my guild decided to start raiding MC after this happened. Fun times.

I know, it's so nice to have it back after that year+ of no new episodes. Although Gigantomakhia was pretty awesome.

[Storm]

Mine all stated with my AIM name back in the late 90's. StormBowler301. Storm's a bowling ball company that I always dreamed of being sponsored by when i was a teenager, bowler because well, I bowled a lot. and 301 is 1 better than a perfect game, because why settle.

eventually Stormbowler301 became Storm301 which became just Storm.

Then in SWTOR, for the first time, I had to choose a last name for my character. so I became Storm Killington which will remain my full character's name in every game from now on because it just sounds really badass.
