Most likely fake leak of next xpac

This is all before gamescon, where there's a rumour something will be announced.

If they want to release expansions more frequently, they'll have to make the announcement at gamescon instead of blizzcon. Blizzcon announcement would pretty much mean that we wouldn't be getting anything till June at the earliest, and more likely sometime in September.
My guess is that their target date would be sometime in April.

I think an emerald dream expansion would have to encompass an entire expansion on it's on.

It really wouldn't make sense to have this plot. The storyline is still going strong with Gul'dan and the burning legion........would be a stupid cliffhanger to just stop the story with him right now.
If blizzard does sidetrack us with some filler story bullshit again I might just take a break. The Burning Leagion, Old Gods, and the Pantheon are all that matter story wise right now. They need to keep elaborating on those subjects. The Old Gods imo have been whats corrupting the Emerald Dream for years. So that ties right into Oldmanroger's idea.

Given that they said they re-wrote the ending to Warlords because of the concern about another orc being the end-boss, I get the feeling that they aren't quite as tied to their narrative as one might think.
