Dashcam in my semi truck

Wife got me a Garmin 20 dashcam a couple weeks ago. I took some video last night driving in the rain on my way back from Cleveland. This is just south of Cincinnati in Northern Kentucky. Pretty nifty little camera. Has my coordinates and speed and whatnot in the lower left.

Set it to 1080p for better clarity.

As someone who just recently drove from FL to NY straight through, I do not miss the interstate and no offense but I do not miss the Semi Trucks either. Passing those things is like trying to run against 30 MPH winds lol

What were you doing in Cleveland? Should have let me know, I always buy a drink for a fellow guild ie if you can make it out my way. I'm about an hour south of Cleveland.

Didn't know you lived up there man. I had to take a trailer to get repaired in Strongsville. Going back Monday night and will be there until Tuesday evening.

Who do you drive for? I have given some serious thought to getting my CDL. Back in 2008 my cousin ran for Secretary of State here in West Virginia and I drove his RV all around the state to different functions. I didn't need a CDL for that but I really enjoyed traveling all over the state. There is something serene about being on the road alone. I've made a cross country trip twice. First was from West Virginia to New Orleans to Los Angeles then a couple years later from LA to Denver back to West Virginia. I actually made the Denver to West Virginia trip in one sitting, 23 hours straight...lol. I was in a hurry to get home...lol.

Statistically 8 out of 10 accidents involving semi trucks and passenger vehicles, the car is at fault. Don't be nervous and keep your distance and you will be fine :-)

I have been driving for 5.5 years. Started off in a hazmat tanker, then I did 2 yers with SPEED Channel and Fox Sports, after that I hauled auto parts for Honda, now I drive for a health care company taking mobile mri and ct scanners to hospitals are ky in oh and wv. If I dont win the powerball i will retire from the company I am at now. Be careful getting in this business. There are a lot of very wealthy truck drivers, there are far more broke truck drivers. A lot of trucking companies dont give a damn about their drivers and keep them on the road weeks at a time and pay them very little. You can also say goodbye to raiding for the first two years, that is how long it takes to get in with a company that will have you home daily and still pay you good.

Ah nah man I'm never nervous about it. What I was saying is it is physically difficult to pass a semi thanks to the wind coming out from in front of your truck at high speeds. When you've been driving from 7pm to 7am your arms get tired man lol.
