TWC installed fiber in my neighborhood the past month. They upgraded me to 200mb/s for a year at no extra charge. So these are my speeds for $44 a month.

I'm actually impressed.

I've had Bright House (subset of TWC I believe) for over 5 years. They have always been amazing! Every time I call in to ask about my bill they offer to up it.



Paying roughly $100 a month for that + cable. Its higher than $44 but all cable companies raise the price after the first 2 years or so. Also TWC has recently announced they will NEVER add a data cap for its customers.

I've got phone, internet, and cable. After talking to them they are charging more, although they won't admit it. My previous package is all of a sudden not available anymore, so my price went from $106 a month to $129 a month. $23 more because "that package is no longer available"... what they really meant was "$23 more because we boosted speeds". The internet price stayed the same, the cable price is actually what raised. They said I am getting up to 200mb/s for $44 which is regularly $79. For $10 more a month I could get speeds up to 300mb/s but really what's the point? Too bad this router/modem sucks ass and hardly handles wow and netflix at the same time.

I found a radio shack near my place that was closing and got a $200 modem for around $50

I would save $10 a month by buying my own but they have a list of about 20 modems they support and they are all $80+ on amazon. No real point in buying one at that price.
