13/13m pre valor is a misconception. Most top progression guilds have a working relationship with Blizzard have guild invites for beta. For example, DJ was 13/13m pre valor and they did not all get invites.

No you're right. I wasn't trying to imply that if you were 13/13 pre valor you automatically got an invite. But it was pretty much confirmed if you did kill archi before a certain date you had a much higher chance of getting alpha. Not guaranteed but very very likely. Much more so than the average player
