This kinda sounds like they are saying it might not be the same day.

It is just a clause in the event that something was not right on the PTR allowing them to push the patch out if they needed to; but history has shown that the expansion pre-patch has always been on the same day as the season end (literally since BC (Source)). But there is always a chance it will slip, but my bet is on the date being announced this coming Tuesday.

You mean the tuesday after this coming tuesday

I mean the announcement coming out this Tuesday, the 12th, for pre-patch to go live a week later, on the 19th

So we could hear the official announcement tomorrow during the Thursday Dev Live interview and have it go live on the 19th

Only thing that we got from the Q&A is that there will be no Q&A next week... Maybe this means the pre-patch will be live!
