For anyone still interested, and believed the grind would be MUCH less going into 7.2, hate to ruin your day

***REMEMBER THIS IS PTR, BUT THEY SAID THAT THESE AK CHANGES ARE EXPONENTIAL NOW***

Blizzard upped the AK % amount by roughly 2.2x the amount from last build. This is actually far lower than what I expected, at around 2M% more AP. We'll see where they go with this. I also think that this is the final iteration of the artifact weapon that we are seeing, but NOT the final amount of AK by the end of the expansion. Look for them to increase AK to 60 in 7.3 and into argus.

Artifact Knowledge Level 26 - 50000%
Artifact Knowledge Level 27 - 62500%
Artifact Knowledge Level 28 - 80000%
Artifact Knowledge Level 29 - 100000%
Artifact Knowledge Level 30 - 125000%
Artifact Knowledge Level 31 - 155000%
Artifact Knowledge Level 32 - 195000%
Artifact Knowledge Level 33 - 245000%
Artifact Knowledge Level 34 - 305000%
Artifact Knowledge Level 35 - 380000%
Artifact Knowledge Level 36 - 475000%
Artifact Knowledge Level 37 - 595000%
Artifact Knowledge Level 38 - 745000%
Artifact Knowledge Level 39 - 930000%
Artifact Knowledge Level 40 - 1165000%

Here's my own little tiny spreadsheet to figure out how many dungeons to farm.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

ALSO
they upped the paragon trait to 50, with exponential scaling, which doesn't quite make sense with the current curve of AK, I expect them to severely nerf trait AP scaling coming into the patch, or else this grind will be much scarier than before.

As an example, to grind to your first concordance point (new paragon trait) before tomb, would be roughly 1.4 billion AP. If it comes out before AK 40, it will take almost 250 dungeon runs, **without WQ** to make it to that goal.

I don't exactly enjoy life, but... yea this is very much leaning me in the "lolfuckyoublizzard" direction.

I still don't believe this grind is that bad. In past I would get on do my dungeons for the week, whatever quest there was for the weekly bonus, raid and then I would mess around on an alt. I always felt like ther was nothing to do on my main. Now I get on and there is always some way for me to improve my main. I think playing my main more this xpac has helped me improve as well.

Very subjective Mata when you can play however long you want whenever you want.

^^^ exactly. Have about 4 or 5 hours a week outside of raids to get all of that done then tell me it isn't that hard.

I play probably 10 hours a week maybe 15 tops and I don't raid now if I was still with the WE team I'd be limited to about half that time. 7 hrs of raid a week and about 2-3 hrs a week farming for consumables etc for raid use leaving me 3-5 hrs to keep the ap coming in. I was getting burnt out from that. I love raiding and all but I dislike the constant grind where I usually have 4 or 5 Alta maxed lvl by now I have 1 and barely play on it. This ap grind might be easy for some but those without the increased time to play and grind(which with the extra time doesn't feel as grindy) feel under the gun. Which is why I stepped down. Wasn't from progression pushing but the grind and having limited time to grind.

Now I have the time without raiding to ap farm and actually enjoy the game but I'm missing out on the mythic raiding which is what got me interested in this game in the begining. If it wasn't for mythic +s I'd be screwed lol
