How many people will recognize this system?

Alright, while Blizzard goes off to fix the log-in servers (which means waking up techs before 5 AM on a Sunday, ouch!) I've decided to have a little fun in other ways.

Below is a photo of a video game system, without using Google. Can you name the system, which company made it, and how long it was on the market?

Virtual Boy by nintendo, I played so much wario world on that thing. It was a really awesome system other than the fact that you would hurt your neck playing it too long.

Wrightos, did you dig that meme up, or have it ready just in case?

Officially they got it right, it is a Virtual Boy. Made only in 1995, Nintendo killed production in under one year. I suspect that's because of the fact it had almost as many health warnings at a package of cigarettes.

On a more comical note, I am surprised bars don't buy these things up, and use it as a betting tool. Play it for 15 minutes, and get drink on the house. Be almost as hard as riding a mechanical bull, except be less entertaining to others.

I always have random shit ready for anything. And I also had a virtual boy, my mom played the hell out of Wario Land (course she also had me do the bosses). Teleroboxer was the best game though.

Quite like my mom (and even my sis.) I have to complete all the difficult levels.
