My list is a little old school since I haven't had a platform system since high school.
Single Player
1. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
2. Super Mario RPG (SNES)
3. FF X (PS2)
4. Mario 64 (N64)
5. Devil May Cry Series (PS2)
6. Donkey Kong Series (SNES)
7. Gran Turismo 4 (PS2)
Multiplayer
1. Super Smash Bros (N64)
2. Halo 1 (XBOX)
3. GoldenEye / Perfect Dark (N64)
4. Track and Field (NES) j/k this game has to be the #1 cause of arthritis and hand muscle (abductor pollicis brevis) pain
After seeing some of the selections people have made, I may have to pull out my old systems and see if they still work. I'm sure game exchange will have some of these old games for a decent price.

How can ANY list not include Final Fantasy 7. It single handedly popularized the RPG genre of gaming that had previously been deemed "dork fodder". Yes, other games may have been first, good, similar, etc... But no other RPG game has had the mainstreaming impact on console RPGs like FF7.
If you have not played it. You owe it, to your responsibility as a gamer, to download or swindle a computer copy to play at least once in your life. See the birth of mainstream console RPGs first hand. I personally spent $80 getting my hands on an original PS copy about a year ago. My first "real" copy since the one I had at its original launch. No collection would be complete without it.

While FF7 was good, I am not a huge fan of JRPGS. I probably wouldnt include it on my top 10.
NINJA EDIT:
1. Neverwinter Nights series
2. Quake 2
3. Mass Effect Series
4. Dragon Age Series
5. Battlefield Series
6. Team Fortress 2
7. Icewind Dale Series
8. Diablo Series
9. World of Warcraft
10. (I HAVE to add this) Goldeneye 007 on the N64- Oh the hours wasted in college when I should have been studying! The drunken nights judo chopping people! I have yet to try Goldeneye: Source. Hmm I might pull that down this weekend.

Nor am I. I thought Xenosaga sucked Donkey Balls. But they have some decent ones when they are done properly.

I only played one FF and it was the one they introduced "aspect powers" to the attack table...TBH i really enjoyed the story but thought it was a very repetitive combat system, which killed any replayed value for me.
