Rayssa ( priest) - random name from when I just started playing wow. I was fascinated with the random names.
Whatatwist ( druid) - robot chicken
Overwhere ( shammy) - just thought it would be funny to confuse people with my name and where I need to stand in the raid.
Manbearpig/sluginator (pally) - southpark. He turned into Sluginator after one night of being dead tired and bored.
Tippytoes ( rogue)- Just thought it would be a perfect name for a rogue.

Deeliia - Used to be RayAnn (my middle name) but when I transferred over, RayAnn was already taken so I went with the name I was using for RP.
Errenora - Used to be Elinora (a variation of Eleanora - the name given to the 1965 Shelby GT 500 from Gone in 60 Seconds) but it wasn't available when I transferred so I went with how Elinora sounded when spoken in a Chinese accent.
Ruukia - I <3 Bleach. ^_^
Rhaega - The female version of Rhaego, the would-be name of Daenerys Targaryen's and Khal Drogo's child. <-- Game of Thrones -nerd- reference.
Kushleaf - Reefer reference to match Maal's druid, Kushpaw. Leaf because I mainspecced resto.
I have a hard time making new characters because I spend so much time trying to figure out a good name for what I want to do with the toon.

Brenstel - LSS a mixture of my favorite poem character, Grendel, and porn star Bree Olson
Long version- One of my favorite poems was Beowolf and on my first account , when WoW began, my first toon was Grendel and every character on that account had the GRE- prefix. Midway through TBC my account got permabanned giving me the chance to kill my addiction and I was finally able to move on.
7 months later my cousin begged me to return to the game because he had shitty healers and he wanted his little guild to progress further before WolK came out. So I started again except this time I was only going to make one toon....sadly all form of Grendel was taking. At the time I was a big fan of Bree Olson and I tried Brendel but that didn't work either. However I was the sound of my name to phonetically sound like Brendel and work Brenstel worked and best of all no one in Warcraft on any server had that name.

Breanne- was my wife's toon, original name was Ahleondra, and I wanted something with the Bre-- prefix

Any of you who have studied military history probably know where the name Pretolkos comes from. He was a war strategist and healer (one of the forefathers to modern scientific theory as it relates to medicine) who lived around 420 BC. He's typically credited with taking a small team inside the then-militarized garrison city of Rumanice and sacking the entire opposing force before they had a chance to respond and counter him. For that, he's sometimes also seen as being a pre-cursor to the modern elite Navy Seal teams that do much the same thing. I couldn't believe that no other healer/strategist had used his name on the server, so I snatched it up. Given how a small raid team of 25 people can take down Ulduar, ICC, BoT, and BWD (not to mention Firelands), it just seems to fit.
Wouldn't that be awesome if it were true? I just thought the name fit the dialect and naming-patterns for Draenei, so I made it up.

This seemed like a good idea until I found out that another priest on the pm team was named Rayssa and is often called Ray for short. I've been in this guild for 1 1/2 years and there are still times when I get confused on who the person that says ray is actually talking to.

Steelwarlord - Is a warrior who uses heavy armor, so I went with Steel(also worked that I planned to be a blacksmith) and Warlord.....hes a warrior idk it just worked.
Steelgrace - Had too keep the Steel theme going, figured Night Elf Druid would be graceful so I picked that.
Fluffysteel - again keeping Steel alive, and I was making a worgen feral druid so I went with "fluffy". Thought about naming him Hairball or Furball but I desided not too.
I also have a few other toons here and there, none with Steel in em though and not on SR aliance.

Corvinus - eh just a reference to Underworld and seemed to fit the Worgen theme
Zhuldan - Becuase he use to be an orc and i thought i would name him after the two most bad ass orcs in lore Ner'zhul and Gul'dan. take the last half of the names and you have Zhul'dan

Reliik (Warrior)- it was an anagram for my old profession. I was an Army Ranger for three years.

my priest's name was Ninjasp(NIN-JASP) dont ask me how i got it, i just came up with it oneday and it sounded pretty pokemon...so it stuck...but everyone just saw ninja and called me ninja even after i would be NIN-JASP!

ninjapaws was orginally my 80 druid, but when i rolled my hunter on llane, i was like hey lets confuse people a little bit.
and the rest of my alts, i guess ninja grew on me, so i stuck with ninja first then i add something forexample
