Idk how or why this would be giving me such unplayable lat, but that's not my area of expertise. I have a 5mb connection and I do use a router with 2pc's and ps3 hard connection. I did try the straight to modem connection as well, both blizz and twc had me do that. Here is the speedtest results
http://www.speedtest.net/result/2126746650.png only was getting 3mb down at the time, but i'm paying for 5..

It gets so bad, I was on a test dummy and some bgs the other day, and my spells were comming so freaking late, but yet my lat was green-yellow at that time. If it gets red, it's just totally unplayable. My pc specs aren't that bad i5-2500 3.3ghz 8gb ram and a 6850 1gb...and I'm not maxing out the visuals. Even turned off all add-ons and still got it bad.
well from your speedtest, you are are running 26meg which is really good, your ping is also good mine is usually 40ish so i dont see no problems there.
but yea like deathpal said if you have wireless make sure you have a password and if you do already might want to change it.
another thing is try to open your ports.
http://portforward.com/cports.htmthat site will have the ports numbers to open and if you dont know how to do it it has a how to do it guide. or you could DL the program that does it for your, but i never used it so not sure how it works.
if worried about the site its a site battlenet recommends for connection problems(not saying much), so id say its atleast halfway legit!
another thing i recommend is how old is the cable lines? make sure all the connections are tight and making a good connection, but honestly with your speedtest.net results i dont see that being an issue.
but i remember like back in firelands i was having modem troubles and i had the service people come out and the connection at the street was loose the guy said, he thinks there was someone out there messing with it trying to get free cable so if this is a new problem you never had before might just want them to send a tech guy out to check all the lines if anything the tech guy can put a booster on the line which can help you out alot if the signal is week.
