Cremate, Dillweed and myself are getting into CS:GO.. typically playing 2-3 matches a day in the evenings (weekdays, 8/9pm start time) or on the weekends (1-3:30pm) eastern time, of course...

Anyone else play? Would love to get some more people involved... even if its just a night/day here or there.

Not too sure about Counter Strike, but once Overwatch comes out, I will totally be all over that!

we're not super great, btw.... Silver 3-Silver 5 range, but if we had an actual 'team' I'm certain we could rank much higher.

Ya its too bad there won't an ranked play for at least the first month (maybe more). It is a ton of fun to play in public matchmaking anyway.

I do wish I had more friends to play with in beta. The team strats are extremely rewarding when coordinating ults and stuff.

CS is still a ton of fun, but its easy to see why a lot of people are afraid to play. Tons of hardcore players that love to flame you if you are just a little bit bad. Playing with friends makes this so much better though.

Cremate and I played last night, 2 matches, and both times we got stuck with people who just wanted to run around and be stupid... Counter-Strike is 70% teamwork and 30% skill based, imo... Skill will get you kills, but solid communication and coordination will win you rounds...

Its disheartening when you spend 1.5 hours trying to win when 2-3 people on a team of 5 are just doing whatever they want. Both matches we actually made huge comebacks, but was just too little too late, had we worked together from round 1, we would have easily won both.

The game is cheap, if you like a FPS, I recommend you snag it and play some casual to get up to speed (and you have to be level 3 to even play competitive)
