anyone know of a good free video editor? since i reloaded my computer i dont have window movie maker. plus i was not satisfied with it.

Not exactly my field, but i dont know any free editor that is (if at all) better than windows movie maker.

You can get it installed for free, its part of the live essentials package now:

The new version is actually not bad at all.

Same as what Flay said. There are tons of free video editors, but I havent run into a single one that had as friendly of a UI as WMM.

ya shortly after i made this post i looked up different types. wmm is by far the easiest one to handle, so i resorted back to it.
