Hello, i recently got accepted into Ante Meridiem and my internet was out from January 8th - 11th and when i logged back in i was removed from guild? What happened? I am kind of pissed, i waited over a month to get in, then my shitty internet goes out for a few days and i get removed? Get back to me asap please.

During your app phase 1 no show no post equals G kicked. However bell may make an exception for your case i would send him a pm but more then likely he will respond to your post.

It is pretty common-place during trials. Crap internet connections are just as big an annoyance to raids as someone under performing.

The best thing to do if this should happen again is post on the forums. I know, your internet is out, but in this day and age, there are cell phones that can do it, or if you don't have one of those, public libraries that offer connections. Just recently I posted to the forum from a web kiosk at a McDonalds cause my phone was dead.

No post no show's effectively let our imaginations run wild. For instance, I thought you had shacked up with a midget circus performer and moved in with her to try your hand at knife throwing. But in actuality, your internet was out and you didn't post.

You really had Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday as no post no shows.

If Bell see's fit to re-invite, ask him for his cell so you can txt him if it should happen again.

Nnemesis and Sheza pretty much summed it up. Typically, missing 1 raid during your 3 week trial run can and often times does result in guild removal. In your case, I was very generous in not simply booting you immediately following Sunday the 8th's raid. I was extremely generous for not booting you immediately following Monday the 9th's raid... but after you hadn't shown up for Tuesday the 11th's raid my generosity had come to a close.

You may be pissed, but I am extremely pissed. Sheza is right and in this day and age I find it very hard to believe that you had a) no way to contact us and let us know and b) that it took 3 days to get your internet fixed

As you, yourself, stated... I wasted a month of my time to review your app, give you a trial run and consider your performance and whether or not you could become a good assett to the guild.

I've stated this several times in raid and its my own personal philosophy when it comes to players, their lag, their latency, their isp... I recruit a raid spot, not a person, and anything that pervents that raid spot from being filled is YOUR responsibility. If you lag out and wipe a raid, or you dc mid-encounter or your internet goes out YOUR raid spot isnt being utilized to its fullest potential and its on you... I do not allow the old "shrug of the shoulders" followed by "its not my fault" because essentially, it is.

I'd like further information on what the problem was, why you couldn't contact us and why it took so long to respond.

And on top of YOUR raid spot failing to be utilized appropriately and fully, and where YOU should come on and ask for my graces for the issue(s) that arose, YOU come on here and get "pissed" you were removed and demand a response from me.

when they say cell phones it doesnt mean that you call them, they are saying most people these days have cell phones that have internet access meaning you could of posted from your cell phone.

You just got in the guild, you no posted for 3 raids in a row, you have like 25% attendance, you were removed. I'm not sure why this is even a thread. We aren't saying your reason isn't valid... we are saying that your attendance this early into your initiation phase, has warranted your removal from the team. Be pissed at your internet... not us for having to react to it.

I understand, im not mad, im just asking for 1 more chance, ,my internet fucked me over and i didnt think to post on the forums since this is the first guild ive ever joined that used one. 1 more chance, thats all.

^ then i would suggest you contact Bell independantly and arrange to have a discussion with him. Either post here and make arrangements, post an ingame mail or whatever you have to do. What bell is looking for is some passion, some resolve and some commitment.

We all understand the lack of an internet connection but like everyone has said, there are other ways to get onto the forums and post.. laying in bed at night with your smartphone on 3G or 4G or whatever you hjave in your area... takes time but its doable. Christ, if i can contact the guild when i am in England in the middle of nowhere with a cell phone that doesnt work and no internet connection, im sure you can!
