New 5.2 DPS Spec Rankings

Raidbots DPS Rankings are out for the 5.2 patch based on all WoL data for raids completed so far.

It breaks my heart to say, all three mage specs are the lowest possible DPS specs available in the game now. /sigh

This may be the greatest patch ever then...

Doesn't break my heart at all... except I have no heart.

Just because this says it doesn't mean a beast like you won't be ripping through the charts still.

unfortunately when you rank all the dps classes and specs some one will be at the bottom.... thats how "listing" works

Unfortunately its all 3 mage specs, but at least they are pretty close to each other.

Cremate do you know if these numbers are pre-hotfixes from thursday?

Today is thursday, and this post was made hours ago. So I doubt it. No major changes in the hotfix though... they fixed some Disc Priest Atonement stuff, buffed DKs even more, and nerfed monks a bit.

I'm going to refrain from commenting more on the hotfixes, since they didnt touch mages and I dont want to go on a rant about how blatantly obvious their grudge on mages is this patch... I mean really, the chart speaks for itself.

No, actually you will notice one very common theme in the top mix of the charts this entire expansion..... Aff Warlocks.

So the patch changes are meant to ignore what gear you have now and assumes raiders are wearing the new tier gear. Simcraft is showing numbers consistent with your table, but check out the huge spike when wearing T15.

Those numbers look pretty accurate according to the current data. I believe the hotfixes are accounted for.

These numbers speak for themselves *cough* arcane *cough*.

Of note there is roughly a 20% disparity between normal tier gear and heroic tier. IE heroic =100k dps, Normal = 80k dps

I'm interested in seeing how the numbers play out over the next few weeks.
