Actually, they changed how pre-fight Expel Harm works. You cannot activate trinkets or dancing steel procs outside of combat now. Or at least, despite starting every fight with 3-4 chi for months/since 5.4, I never have managed to activate either. And I think I did a bad job of describing what I meant - I would be using the 2 chi brews after I am on the boss/the fight has started. Also I'm 95% sure that Xuen does not snapshot agility, but updates dynamically.

Virtually everything I've read on this says that while Xuen definitely benefits from agi, he doesn't snapshot it.

I haven't looked at my procs since Jikun, I just remember the times I landed on a nest and healed myself and procced, prefight. It's been a while since then, though, and I somehow missed that update.

At which point what you're thinking is ideal. You can pull off 3 or 4 pretty regularly, so punch, kick, brew twice, kick kick, at that point you probably have both trinkets and should have 10 or close to 10 stacks, pop that, kick again, punch, kick kick and spam away. Yeah, it's a good opening.

Something I recently saw online stated using T16 4pc bonus made the value of Mastery better than Crit. When I looked up Justmonk's Armory profile (from EU-Method) he is only utilizing 2 pc T16 and the rest heroic/heroic wf gear all with Crit/Haste secondaries. Just wondering what you guys thought of this.

I have been trying to find a good Windwalker blog/site that's updated regularly to follow these discussions so if anyone has suggestions I love to read up theorycrafting and different opinions on rotations.

When I go looking, it's usually on MMO Champ despite all the noise. 4pc does improve mastery substantially, though not too sure about above crit ... but everything I've read from EJ to MMO Champ etc seems pretty clear on 4pc not being worth it vs 3pc H WF in those slots. And since I managed to luck into H WF legs and helm, I'm pretty sure that's what I'm going to be sticking with.

Was looking at Justmonk's profile again and He obviously goes way beyond the 9350 haste cap...is this for dual wielding? I was curious since I finally got a heroic dual wield set as to what I could adjust to max my dps since AM team is now in the back half/hard part of Siege and I need to focus on improving my utility and dps.

Should I spec into more haste? Is there a "crit cap" for dual wielding? its hard to find updated theorycrafting for the post 5.4 changes.

nvm...it was hiding in MMO Champs WW guide and I just missed it, crit cap to 57%.

As far as my Sim results go

for Single Target/Burst fights, best sim dps came from Thok's Tail Tip and Haromm's Multistrike

for sustained cleave/aoe fights like protectors/galakras/spoils, which would you suggest? AoC/Thoks or Rampage(Haromm's)/Thok's? Seems like so much movement on these fights that AOC would only be useful for the Energizing Brew and FoF cooldown is unreliable as having to move at a moments notice would be a waste of Chi/dps. Is rampage worth subbing in for cleave dmg/extended agi proc or should I stick to wf multistrike?

I'm also looking for a way to condense the amount of clicking I do. Any click binds (Vuhdo) or specific key bind suggestions is also appreciated.

I agree, the quality of the EJ thread etc has gone down somewhat. What I read these days is haste up to ~12k, all the rest into crit (the soft cap doesn't really change the value one way or the other).

Tail tip - true, but my understanding is that the tip has to be heroic to beat any mode version of TED. At that point it merits our second BiS, WF even more so ... too bad we can't coin it =/.

I use mouseover macros for SEF - other than that I have almost everything keybound, with exceptions like grapple and healing sphere that are very rarely used. Cleave fights ... I want to say they changed it so that FoF is less advantageous on when clones are out. Generally, AoC is inferior to TED/any other trinket at same iLVL. Rampage would probably be worth it for max #s on protectors, maybe galakras, maybe spoils depending on how you do it.

AoC reduction for FoF is junk, we dont FoF on CD anyway.
